Co-headlining acts, the globally-acclaimed Genesis Owusu and double grammy nominated jazz giants Hiatus Kaiyote (fresh from their set at Coachella) will be leading the stage – supported by Ngaiire, Emma Donovan, Horns of Leroy, dancefloor disk jockey K+LAB, and First Nations dance party duo Electric Fields.
And whatever you do, don’t forget to pack your dancing shoes, because Storyland’s signature DJ tent, The Yurt Locker (curated by Coco Varma) is coming in hot, hosting a cascade of nationally-recognised DJs and dancers – things are all but guaranteed to get seriously groovy.
Promising large-scale, film-inspired art installations, such as a neo-noir cyberpunk maze designed by Marion Conrow and Zakpage, and the [Movie] Trailer Park art installation by Sarah Stollna, Storyland Festival is set to be an eclectic experience brought to you by a huge collaboration of local Coffs Coast creatives.
