Walcha Royal Cafe & Accommodation

Built in 1889, the Walcha Royal Cafe & Accommodation comes with history – first named the Royal Hotel, the establishment was destroyed by a fire that swept through the building in 1938, later being rebuilt and renamed the New Royal Hotel. In 2006, the hotel was bought by the current owner, Toni Heaney, and was converted to the 60s, country-style cafe and accommodation that it's known and loved for today. Being positioned at the bottom of one of the best motorcycle routes in Australia, the Walcha Royal Cafe & Accommodation is popular with motorcyclists and car enthusiasts alike, offering a fully-secured yard, lock-up shed and under-cover parking.

The hotel’s accommodation has nine rooms upstairs, offering deluxe queen rooms, queen rooms, twin queen rooms, twin rooms and more. There is also a two-bedroom cottage available that sleeps up to seven people.
